Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has officially announced his departure from the club at the end of the season.
Here is the letter from Arsene Wenger:
"After carefully thinking and discussing with the club, I felt that the end of the season was a good time to leave the head coach.I am grateful to have been given the honor of serving Arsenal in these memorable years.I run the club with all I have.
I would like to thank the staff, the players, the management and the fans who made the club so special.
I hope the shareholders will continue to stand behind the team to help us finish the season in high positions.
And to those who love Arsenal, keep the club values
I will forever love and support Arsenal. "
Arsene Wenger was born in 1949 in Strasbourg, Alsace, France. Prior to the 22 years of training at Arsenal, Wenger had held Nancy, Monaco and Nagoya Grampus Eight clubs.
Arsene Wenger helped Arsenal win three Premier League titles, seven FA Cup and seven Community Shield titles. Arsenal's last appearance at the English Premier League was in the 2003-04 season
