In his first Masters play, the 22-year-old talent scored -3. Last year, he was third in the Open Championship and earlier this year surpassed Rory McIlroy to win the Dubai Desert Classic.

"I did not score as good as the training sessions," Woods was disappointed with his performance. "This is a very different round than the last time I played here. Things have changed after three years. Ranking on the scoreboard is also very unpredictable. Over the weekend, I think it's going to be a lot more chaotic. "
Phil Mickelson started out better than Woods when he got -2 points. The two candidates Rory McIlroy and Henrik Stenson all sounded a stick. Meanwhile, world number one Dustin Johnson positive one, number two Justin Thomas positive two and number three Jon Rahm positive three.
